About the role

Applicants may apply from any country except Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Australia and Bangladesh.

We're looking for experienced QA specialists to audit transcripts for accuracy and quality, before and after delivery to our clients. You'll audit against our published quality standards and deliver clear, well-documented findings that help keep transcripts accurate and consistent.

What you'll do

  • Audit submitted transcripts (random, targeted and end-to-end samples) for accuracy, completeness, speaker attribution, formatting, grammar, punctuation and alignment with client style guides.

  • Deliver written audit findings with specific, actionable notes for each transcript.

  • Flag recurring quality issues and recommend fixes to workflows, documentation or standards.

  • Deliver periodic quality summaries showing trends across audited work.

  • Review reported quality escalations and deliver a finding on each.

  • Use the shared scoring guide so your scores line up with other auditors' (we share calibration samples for reference).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in transcription QA, editing, proofreading or similar language work.

  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation and editorial standards.

  • A sharp eye for detail and strong research skills, especially for verifying company names, financial terms and industry-specific language.

  • Objective, constructive and well-documented feedback.

  • Comfort with spreadsheets and QA or reporting tools.

  • Your own computer and a reliable internet connection.

  • The ability to manage your own schedule and deliver to agreed turnaround times.

  • Headphones or speakers and a quiet place for the audio-based skills test.
